Room Location

We will be traveling on Carnival Liberty in June 2008.  I was asigned a room which is located where the hallway intersects te elevators banks.  Is this a good thing or a bad thing?  I'm concerned because of the level of traffic walking by the room.

Well, this is just my thinking here... But it probably depends on which level you are on. Liberty is a big ship, not sailed on her, but I've been on her older sister Conquest. I was pretty close to the elevators on the Empress deck and hardly heard a sound. What deck are you on, and which elevator bank are you closest too?

It is the verandah deck at the back end of the ship

I would guess that you should be OK. Unless there is some serious drinking going on in the aft lounge late at night, I should think that the most you would hear would be movement around the elevators very near the dinner seating times.
